It's important to prevent fires to begin with.

You didn't have to be there to begin with.

It's more important to prevent accidents to begin with.

 

 

• on the double   지체 없이, 신속하게

When there is a fire, you should call 119 on the double.

Finish that report on the double.

Let's get this done on the double.

 

 

• get to safety   안전한 곳으로 대피하다

If you can't get to safety, you should block gaps underneath doors.

If it bebins to pour, you should get to safety immediately.

It's hard for people who live in remote areas to get to safety.
