2. “The Wave,” a new art installation outside the COEX Mall in Gangnam, is astounding people in Korea and around the world. This spectacular outdoor LED screen displays a continuous wave trapped in a water tank that makes it feel like it could crash down on visitors at any moment. This installation, called the “World’s Largest 3D Wave,”  can not only be seen outside at the mall, but can also be enjoyed by billions around the globe on YouTube.

 

강남 코엑스몰 외곽에 새로 설치되는 미술품 '더 웨이브'가 한국과 전 세계 사람들을 놀라게 하고 있다. 이 화려한 실외 LED 스크린은 물탱크에 갇힌 연속적인 파도를 보여주는데, 이는 방문객들에게 언제 무너질지 모른다는 느낌을 준다. '세계 최대 3D 웨이브'로 불리는 이 설치물은 쇼핑몰 밖에서 볼 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 유튜브를 통해 전 세계 수십억 명이 즐길 수 있다.

3. Qatar Airways is looking to make the travel experience much safer by introducing full-body protective gear for its flight attendants. Since Monday, flight attendants have been covered head to toe in PPE during the flight, and passengers must use face coverings as well. Other changes include the way food is served and the way passengers board the plane.

 

카타르 항공은 승무원들을 위해 전신 보호 장비를 도입함으로써 여행 경험을 더욱 안전하게 만들려고 하고 있다. 월요일부터, 승무원들은 비행 중 PPE에서 머리부터 발끝까지 가렸으며, 승객들도 얼굴을 가려야 한다. 다른 변화들로는 음식이 제공되는 방식과 승객들이 비행기에 탑승하는 방식이 있다.

Zhangjiajie National Park 

 

More than 3,000 spectacular sandstone pillars tower towards the sky at Zhangjiajie National Park in China. Its magnificent pillars, streams, waterfalls, and caves attract sightseers from all over the world. The beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site is said to have inspired the Hallelujah Mountains in the blockbuster movie, Avatar.

 

중국 장자지 국립공원에는 3000개가 넘는 화려한 사암기둥들이 하늘을 향해 우뚝 솟아 있다. 그것의 웅장한 기둥, 개울, 폭포, 동굴들은 전세계의 관광객들을 끌어 모은다. 이 유네스코 세계유산의 아름다움은 블록버스터 영화 아바타에서 할렐루야 산맥에 영감을 주었다고 한다.
