Firstly, the countries in the Middle East like Saudi Abrabia could possibly go bankrupt.
This will lead other counties around it hard to stand from decline of trade.
It can produce much bigger waves which develop to the world economic crisis.
개인적인 관점에서 보면, 사람들은 주류비를 아낄 수 있어요, 기름값이 폭락하게 되면 말이죠.
하지만 세계적인 관점에서 보면, 상황은 안 좋은 방향으로 훨씬 심각해질 수 있어요.
우선적으로 사우디아라비아같은 중동지역의 나라들이 파산할 수도 있어요.
이것으로 주변나라들은 버티기 힘들 수 있어요. 무역이 감소되니까요.
이렇게 더 큰 파동이 일어나고, 세계경제위기로 이어질 수 있어요.
2. What effects did the oil shock have on our daily lives?
Well... actually I couldn't feel how much effects the oil shock gives on our daily lives.
Is that becuase I don't drive, so that I don't have to visit a gas station?
Believe or not, one of my friends recently bought some stocks related to ongoing oil shock.
She said she got some profits from it, and now the prices of that stocks are getting down.
Though I couldn't feel any direct impact from oil shock on my daily life, it can be sure that stock markets are in panic!
글쎄요... 사실 저는 잘 모르겠어요. 유가파동이 우리 삶에 얼마나 많은 영향을 끼치는지요.
그건 제가 운전을 하지 않아서 주유소에 들릴 필요가 없기 때문일까요?
믿거나 말거나, 제 친구 중 한명이 최근에 유가파동 관련 주식을 샀대요.
친구가 말하길, 그것으로 이득을 보았고 이제 그 주식의 가격이 떨어지고 있다고 하네요.
비록 저는 유가파동의 직접적인 영향을 제 삶에서 느끼지 못하고 있지만, 주식시장은 패닉에 빠진 것 같아요.
3. What are some ways to reduce our dependence on oil?
There are some ways to develop our independence on oil, I believe.
One of those ways is to develop alternative energy, such as solar energy, wind energe or nuclear energy.
Among those, unclear energy is said that quite dangerous when an accident happens.
Despite its dangerousness, it has a lot more benefits compared to oil energy.
It is a clean energy which doesn't produce harmful chemical remains.
Also, nuclear energy can be future hopes for countires like South Korea which don't have any oil from the ground.
Therefore, I hope the government supports lots of scientists to work on unclear energy more than before.
우리가 석유에 대한 독립성을 기르는 방법이 몇 가지 있다고 생각합니다.
그중 한 가지 방법은 대체 에너지를 개발하는 것이지요. 태양에너지, 풍력에너지 혹은 원자력 에너지처럼요.
이 중에서 원자력 에너지는 사고가 났을 때 위험하다고 일컬어집니다.
이런 위험성이 있음에도 불구하고 원자력 에너지는 더 많은 이점을 가지고 있어요. 석유에너지랑 비교해 봤을 때요.
원자력 에너지는 깨끗한 에너지에요. 해로운 화학물질들을 생산하지 않거든요.
또한, 원자력 에너지는 미래의 희망이 될 수 있어요. 대한민국과 같은 나라들에게요. 이 나라들은 땅에서 기름이 나오지 않죠.
그래서 저는 정부가 많은 과학자들을 지원해서 전보다 원자력 에너지 발전에 힘쓰게 했으면 좋겠어요.
